When a citizen of Maycomb meets someone or guesses much or less someone they always judge. When Scout and Jem fount met Dill they had qualms about him. They looked at him and thought he looked shrimpy for going on seven.(Lee 7) Th ey became very close with Dill and put out that he was a lot of fun and they enjoyed creation around him. Their first impression of him wasnt anything close to what he re all toldy was. Additionally, fashioning guesses about someone and making up rumors is also a function of prejudice. The Radley House always sparked suspicion and made the nation of Maycomb talk without facts. The towns commonwealth thought a malevolent shade [lived] at the Radley house and [they told] fantastic leggy tales about the man called Boo who allegedly stabbed his fathers leg with some scissors.(8-9) No one knows for sure what really happened but that is unless one of the stories that introduced Boo into the book. Because the Radley family is so secretive, Jem and Scout speak up something forbid when really nothing bad happened. Scout encountered people who were anti-Semite(a) and prejudice throughout her life. When the Tom Robinson court case happened the comments were all around her.
